Quito

Like
Cuenca city and the Galapagos Islands, 27 years ago, Quito,
the Capital of the Republic of Ecuador, was declared by the
United Nations as “Patrimony of Humanity”. It
was due to its beauty and cultural background. Quito is an
“ever green” city, surrounded by forests and the
Andes Mountains; Quito has the largest Spanish Colonial section
among the Latin American cities; it has some 2 million inhabitants
allocated along a “corridor” of 70 Km. long although
with only 5 or 6 Km. wide. Quito is served by a very good
public transport service to any part of the city. Therefore,
making Quito one of the most interesting and unique cities
in the world.

Most
of the projects are located in the old town of Quito, which
is a colonial part of the city; other projects are at the
outskirts of the city, that is, at its northern and southern
part of Quito where the poor neighborhoods are mostly allocated.
