Host Family Classroom

The institute is of a high standard not only due to its comfortable and modern teaching facilities (see photos and video) but also to the system applied. In fact, its teaching method has been developed and refined over the last three and a half decades, having successful branches in other South American countries.

Our program is perhaps different from that offered by other institutions. We consider that an individual interested in learning Spanish in Latin America, in this case in Ecuador, should be involved in our culture, social and economic development basics. His / Her training, therefore, should be integral so that he/she is able to gain a feel for our culture, people and language.

In the case of our volunteers who decide to take Spanish lessons we offer a complete package: Spanish lessons at the academy and living with host families from the upper middle class near the academy. On top of this, with no extra charge, we provide 6 hours of university level lectures on economic and social development of Ecuador; these lectures are produced by a university professor educated in Vienna and Oxford. Long academic discussions are expected at these meetings. These lectures are produced in English translated simultaneously to Spanish.

However if you do not volunteer with us, any person, at any level, can attend Spanish lessons at our affiliated best in town Spanish academy at reduced prices if you register through our organisation. Thus, you will be in a group up to five students for US$140 or on one to one for US$210 for each set of 20 hours class, a discount of US$25 or US$40 correspondingly. The only once registration fee is US$40. We offer home family stay for the students of Spanish at US$16 per day, minimum four weeks.
